I’m here to support you at every stage of your breastfeeding journey — from antenatal education through to postnatal support. Whether you prefer in-person consultations or flexible online guidance, I’ll be by your side to help both you and your baby thrive.
As you prepare for your baby’s arrival or begin navigating those early days of breastfeeding, I offer personalised support tailored to your unique needs. Together, we’ll ensure you feel informed, confident, and supported throughout this beautiful journey. In short, I aim to make your experience as smooth and reassuring as possible.
Antenatal Consultations
Before your baby arrives, an antenatal consultation provides a wonderful opportunity to ask questions and address any concerns or anxieties. During our session, we’ll explore the best ways to start breastfeeding confidently and develop a personalised feeding plan. As a result, you’ll feel well-prepared and reassured for the early days with your little one.
Duration: Approx. 120 minutes

Initial Postnatal Consultation
Once your baby arrives, the Initial Postnatal Consultation becomes especially important. This session gives us the space to reflect on your experience so far, address any immediate concerns, and take a thorough medical and feeding history. Additionally, I’ll observe a full breastfeed and, if needed, weigh your baby to ensure everything is progressing well.
Following this, we’ll work together to uncover the reasons behind any challenges. Consequently, I’ll help you create an evidence-based plan that supports your goals. My priority is to ensure you feel understood, empowered, and supported every step of the way.
Common concerns I support include:
- Difficulty with latching or attachment
- Sore or damaged nipples
- Painful breasts or suspected mastitis
- A baby who is fussy, unsettled or refusing the breast
- Concerns about weight loss, slow weight gain, or low milk supply
- Supplementation and mixed feeding challenges
Duration: Approx. 150 minutes
Fee: £150
Additional time or complexity (e.g. twins) may incur a supplementary fee.
Follow-Up Consultation
As your breastfeeding journey continues, follow-up visits provide ongoing opportunities for support. Whether you’re reassessing your routine, reviewing progress, or adjusting your care plan, these sessions are designed to meet your evolving needs. Moreover, they help reinforce your confidence as you navigate new stages of feeding.
After each session, I’ll provide a written summary and helpful resources. In addition, you’ll receive links to relevant support and video content to guide you between visits.

Travel and Other Information
- No charge for appointments within a ten-mile radius of EH14 2JZ
- Additional mileage: 60p per mile for locations beyond ten miles
- Parking charges may apply depending on the location
- Weekend/Bank Holiday Fee: Additional £20
Email support is available for up to two weeks following your consultation. New concerns beyond this may require an additional visit.
